Actually, I'm not from Texas...

....I'm from Kansas.
Other Person: Ah. I've driven through your state, ...its quite the drive.
Me: Yea, pretty flat...
Other Person: So where in Kansas?
Me:...I'm from Salina, KS. Its right where I-70 and 135 meet.
Other person: Oooo, right. I know where that is. ....there's not a whole lot there or anywhere else in Kansas.
Me: Yea... No one else really likes it, but I do....

Sounds like convos I'd have when I went to Hays (with people from eastern KS). Most stop on their way to go skiing. :)

Margaret's been practicing writing your name. I'll need to show you sometime. It's going to be a challenge to wait so long to buy and then wear the dress. She's so excited!

It was good talking to you the other day. Have a great weekend!

I love (parts) of Kansas. And I love Kansans all the more. So I just wanted to show a little support. Colorado is pretty great and may be better than Kansas but Kansas is still the jam. 'nough said.
