Some days I wish I was a song writer....or a poet....I would even settle for being a rapper....well a good one anyway....

I've been wondering lately what motivates and drives people to do what they do. In particular, what drives people who do not know the Lord to do such great things for other people? I am always amazed by the people who are completely selfless just because! Are they simply trying to live for something bigger than themselves? We hear all the time how sinful and innately cruel our flesh is, but then it goes to show that there must be a little bit of kindness/goodness within us. I'm encouraged to see that there is a portion of morality and love to go around....and then the more I think about it, why wouldn't there be? If we are created in the image of our Lord...there must be evidence of Him in our nature. Maybe it's just hidden all too often by our sin.
